Forest Park Poggio Neri, falls within the regional forest agricultural heritage named “Sassetta“ which covers a total area of 735 hectares, is located to the East of the town until reaching the valleys of Praise and Massera and represents an ideal destination for those who love Trekking, horseback riding and mountain biking. In the Park stretching well 37 km of trails between splendid specimens of chestnut trees, Oaks and Oaks. Inside is the Museo del Bosco: an open air exhibition of tools of the trades of the wood and a perfect and meticulous reconstruction of the world of Colliers. It is here that the ancient Colliers of Sassetta wrote their stories of life in harmony with nature.
