Poggio buco Etruscan Necropolis

The cemeteries are very extensive and document an Etruscan presence already since Villanova with a period of greatest prosperity between the seventh and sixth A.C.
In the plateau of Le Sparne, the Etruscan necropolis is crossed by a long way Quarry (via Cava) where you can see the most ancient tombs. The tombs of the next phase, more evolved,  bell-shaped tombs, dug into the tuff with vestibule (VII, VII sec. A.c.). Unfortunately the graves are no longer visited, except for a few “bell”, as the Tomb of the Queen, with its impressive columns.
