The impressive complex of natural granite boulders of Cote Ciombella, presents itself in one or two basal parts,with some projections that may have been used as shelters.
Among the most significant prehistoric signs, there are evidences relating to the first colonization of the island; in Castellare Campese, not far from the known storeroom of bronzes, excavations have unearthed the remains of a large settlement stable referable to the Middle Bronze Age (middle of the second millennium BC), with a very large number of old structures.Part of the town of materials and bronze closet finds are displayed in Grosseto to the Archaeological Museum and Art of the Maremma.
