Monticello Home Museum

The Home Museum is located in the historical center of the town and is housed in an old building which faithfully recreate environments of late nineteenth century house of the Amiata mountain. At the entrance floor there is “the heart of the house”, made up of the kitchen and the room set up with authentic furniture and furnishings of daily use. On the lower floor they can visit the barn, warehouse and an old mill in animal traction, in which work tools and agricultural implements are collected and exhibited that testify the work in the fields and woods.
