The castle, which rises in the highest part of the inhabited center, has a massive size and consists of two bodies, one upstream and one further downstream, connected by a courtyard bordered by walls. The structure shows signs of different renovations that have occurred over time.
The church of San Giovanni Battista is located there, documented as early as the 12th century and extensively restored in the 14th century.
